Activision has announced that they program to release a minimum of 2 downloadable map packs for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.[4] Microsoft announced at E3 2009 that these map packs would be available for the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live before they would be released on other platforms.[2] The first map pack, the Stimulus Package includes 5 maps; 2 from Call of Duty 4: Mod Warfare, Crash and Overgrown, and three new maps, Bailout, Salvage, and Storm. It was released for Xbox Alive users on March xxx, 2010, and May four, 2010 for PC users and N American PlayStation three users. Information technology was release on May 5 for the residual of the PS3 and PC users in the world.

The second map pack, the Resurgence Pack released for Xbox 360 on June iv, and PC for North American PS3 users on July 6 and 7 for the rest of the world using PS3.
